Welcome To Sloan!

Sloan Memorial is a United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas located between the historic 5th Ward neighborhood and the newly developing Greater East End community.  We are conveniently located on Interstate 10 (exit 770B), near the junction of Interstate 59 (exit Lyons Ave.).  We are a 127 years old congregation with our eyes focused ahead to the future.  Come join us for Sunday Morning Worship (every Sunday starting at 10:45).

 Driving Directions
From I-10 East: Take Exit 770B (Gregg St./Meadow St.) and go through the first stop sign at Gregg St., to the second dead-end stop sign at Meadow St.. Turn left, go over I-10 to the stop sign at Nance St.. Turn left and go 1 block. We are the red brick church on the right, at the corner of Sydnor St. and Nance St.
From I-10 West: Take Exit 770B (Jenson Dr./Nance St.) and go through the traffic signal at Jensen Dr. and the stop sign at Meadow St. and Nance St.. Go one more block.  We are the red brick church on the right, at the corner of Sydnor St. and Nance St.
From I-59 North:  Take the Quitman St./Lyons Ave. just before the I-10 interchange.  Go through the traffic signals at both Lorraine St. and (over the bridge) at Lyons Ave.. Continue around the curve to the next traffic signal at Jensen Drive.  Turn left, over I-10, to the traffic signal at Jensen Drive and Nance St..  Turn left.  Go through the stop sign at Meadow St. and Nance St.. Go one more block.  We are the red brick church on the right, at the corner of Sydnor St. and Nance St.
From I-59 South: Take the Lyons Ave. exit just past the I-10 interchange.  Turn left, under the overpass and another left at the traffic signal on the opposite side of the overpass.  Continue around the curve to the next traffic signal at Jensen Drive.  Turn left, over I-10, to the traffic signal at Jensen Drive and Nance St..  Turn left.  Go through the stop sign at Meadow St. and Nance St.. Go one more block.  We are the red brick church on the right, at the corner of Sydnor St. and Nance St.
